Some of those 1980s articles are real hack jobs.
That one looks like they took Marty's original 1968-69 Cars Magazine articles and pictures on 2 different Chevelles and hacked it together.

Could be a '67 GTO tach-----Pontiac had the only (electrical)tach at that time, until '69, that seemed to work with the CD ignitions.......

I know I've seen a picture of a BM Camaro 67/68 with the clutch flite trans on the highway pulling the wheel's. Can someone direct me to that? That was a Great picture.
