ss el camino or wagon

I saw this car(pictures to come) driving yesterday, i was blue black stripes with ss tags, however it look like a wagon with out widows and a vinyl roof all the way down. I am going to try to get a closer look does anyone know if a car like this rings a bell? Maybe some funky 70s conversion? it looks to be 68-70 model

got a look at it today it is a wagon, had locks on the hood pins. I left a not for the guy to call me was ther ss wagons built like the 442 wagons is there any value in them.

Rear hatch sounds like a '73...converted to a hearse maybe?.

I think the front end was mor like the 68-69 I will check when I go home since i now have a pic

68-72 had a tailgate, like Pete said. 73 first year for hatch. Hey, some crazy guy, good with a torch, who knows what could be out there. lets see the pictures!!

There were 442 like wagons at the Indy races. Pace car years
