Last, a shot of what I took to the event. The '62 Bill Thomas A/FX Nova and the Dick Harrell funnycar. Folks seemed to really enjoy seeing the two cars together, to see how funnycars changed in a very short time.

Having not shown the FC in a couple of years, was a lot of fun. Being this was Dick's home track, got to meet a lot of folks who remembered him.

Need to thank Chris and all of his staff with the Muscelcar Reunion, the folks with KCIR and MAR who handled the track duties, and everyone else who was involved, they put on one heck of an event. Saturday evening's racing under the lights was awesome, everything from FAST, to front engine dragsters, to Pro-mods, funny cars, lots of door cars, something for everyone. Only downer of the weekend was the rain, but even that did not seem to really dampen anyone's spirits.

Looks like a helluva event. Kinda like the first NHRA Reunion in Bowling Green.................vintage gassers, old SS/slammers, Jr Stockers........... I coulda stayed there forever!
