67 Pace car question

Hi guys, I read more post than I participate in but I have a question. I was told that there was a red Pace car discovered in recent years that is suppose to be legit. Can anyone shed any light on this car, it's owner and it's whereabouts? Thanks and hope everyone had a great 4th! Kevin

Was that not a pace car for another race not indy? I think it was an article in one of the mags maybe Super Chevy some years back ?
