Have a pair of orginal motion valve covers that I want to restore, wondering how to safely get the black background paint off the emblems to repaint without damaging the chrome on them. Any tips appreciated. SULLY

I would say to soak them in Lacquer Thinner. Should remove the paint pretty quickly, and wont damage the chrome.

Anybody know where to get an emblem recast? Need to get my Sunderland Chev. emblem redone for the '69 Nova.
