Holy crap......I was seven or eight in '68 when my brother took me to New England Dragway here in NH. You would swear half of that stuff was from up here...same stuff, same era. Those are some "boss" pics !

The Strickler / Jenkins Hi-Performance Clinic

Back in the sixties / seventies GM would foot the bill for traveling performance clinics such as this one. A post card in the mail was all it took to bring out the loyal following.

This was quite a show, Grumpy and Dave were both there with a bunch of cars and the latest GM high performance parts and accessories.

Curry Chevrolet had the rest of the service department filled with the hot local street and race cars. It was not close by and unfortunately I forgot my camera in the rush to get there!

<font color="blue">I was only a few miles from Curry Chevrolet.

Unfortunatly I was only 10 years old &amp; even though I was into cars back then, my dad wasn't.

I would have been there if it were 4 years later.

[b] Wagon Racers

Found this car in late 70's at the end of a dead end street in Franklin Sq, where it had sat for some time with the left front brakes off on a jack stand and a for sale sign. Knocked but never went back - it was just an old Chevy back then!!

Saw this car with no motor or trans - laying on the ground at Mr Bigs Performance in Elmont a few years after this shot - was a nice car - hope it was saved - green &amp; yellow flake

That black 55 is awesome! I look at the pictures and see so many cars, and I wonder where they all ended up
