Default 1967 yenko

I have been searching for the 67 Yenko sold tru Fred Gibb. I have talked to a guy that worked on it back when it was new, The info he gave me was interesting the was a 427 fiberglas hood and he swears it was sold new with 2-4s and it. It had a small metal tag on the rear tail pan that said built by Dick Harrell. The story is that when it had the 2-4s the owners wife was driving it and it caught on fire. The fire burned the hood and the fenders bad. They took the hood and fenders off and drag raced only at tracks. Russ the guy telling me about it when to Nam when he came back everybody had left the area. He said he talked to the owner several years later. He doesn't know what happen to the car. This is the same car I watched driving around Burlington,Ia back then. I commented about this car before. It had in gold leaf "The mad monk" on the door.Cool HuH.

I thought that quite a few of the 67 Yenkos were actually built by Harrell for Yenko.
