Thers only 1 396 available for the 67 which is a 325 hp which is the next best to a 427 car. Any ss impala with a big block 4 spd is worth that money all day long. A 69 ss427 is a whole different animal and should not come into play here.

Again,
Post color and body/frame condition. If it's a good color and clean, the $10K seems reasonable for a four speed big block anything! Do the numbers on the motor match the VIN? They aren't making any more of these!

[ QUOTE ]
The car is not a base model if its a trus ss396 with a 4 speed. worth every penny in my book. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Just to clarify, are you suggesting that a car has to be an SS if it has a 396 4-speed? Because that's not true. To me, it would not matter if it was an SS or not. The engine/tranny combo in a '67 is a nice car regardless. |
