[quote.......and my Buddy Rick Nelson's surprise intervention............ , I guess I just can't believe ANYTHING you tell me from now on, eh?

Cumby, you likely knew I was coming only a few minutes after I did! lol But I will say the way I surprised you was worth EVERY penny and the 12 hours of drive time. A classic to be sure! And thanks to Don for helping.

I also thought that this center would likely be nicer after some of the bugs were worked out that I heard about. It was a little more crammed and noisy but over all a lot cheaper than staying at McCormick.

It was indeed a nice show Good to see Bruce and Dennis Cumby again, and my pleasure to meet Ken Tibor and his very impressive fleet of vehicles I sure wish I would have had more time to spend looking and chatting

Boy there just never seems to be enough time. I would have liked to spend more time chatting with Bruce, Ken, Cumby and others. But that's my own fault for just going for half a day. It was great to see everyone and I am already looking forward to the next event.

A job well done on the show. Think I will start getting a car ready for next time.

Congrats to the newest "TOP GUNS"! The SCW does it again!

Also heard the sYc might have brought home an award. Anyone know about the Gold Spinner recipients?

Our Nickey Continuation Series 1969 Chevelle vin 001 was also a Gold Spinner winner.

The Tin Soldier COPO Camaro Race Car, received a Bowtie Boulevard Gold

The Vitar COPO race car also received a Bowtie Boulevard Gold.

The Motion Trans Am in the sYc display received a Bowtie Boulevard Gold.

The 1981 Yenko Turbo Z28 in the sYc display received a Silver Spinner award.

The Black '69 Z28 with X-Ram and JL8 also received a Silver spinner.

Congrats Steve! NICE DISPLAY!
Being a Chevelle fan, that "Continuation" car really grabbed me!

I'll get you a CD of the shots I have.

brought me a magazine that I've been searching for...for years! He wouldn't take a penny from me.

[/ QUOTE ]
