Has anyone seen DG wheels with no date codes at the valve stem, just stamped DG? Is that correct? Could someone post a pic of an original DG wheel stamp? Thanks,Roger

Roger they are not stamped with a date..I had 4 versions of stamps but I think they were lost with my pc snafu...heading out he door on a field trip with the little guy when I get back I will look and see if I can find them.
basically they are stamped on either side of the stem and sometimes upside down, check the inside of the wheel and see how it is stamped for size and code also. Bud. |

If I remember correctly, the Chevrolet by the Numbers book states that they didn't start stamping the date by the valve stem until March, 1967.
