I am willing to bet that he will not get any bids at all on everything he has listed. Unless he has a shill bidder help him out. This person is genuinely confused or he simply put the wrong conversion factor in when converting yen to American dollars.

I asked him why his price is so high.
He replied he would send me a free tutorial videotape explaining why.

Quite the monster-size 31-32 sedan in the background....maybe Hispano Suiza or ??? .

He has Chevy by Numbers sitting there so I looked it up. I do know what the 3885069 manifold is, there's one on my car. This intake has 3886093 on it too which CbN's says is a slight redesign of the 069 and used with '67 L88 Corvettes (unverified). I'm still not sure why he seems to be implying there is only 1 of these made. Ask him to send the video. I would love to see why I should pay $23,000.00 for a $300-400.00 intake. I just hope the video is in English.

I think the seller is trying to say (in his answers to the questions in the auction) that it came off of one of the actual production '67 L88 Corvettes. How he can prove that I do not know. I guess the video explains it...

Kooky pricing aside, looking again at this sellers other items makes me wonder who this guy is? . There's been a couple of Japanese guys who own or have owned McLaren Can-Am cars and I think there's still an M12 in Japan? . Man, that magnesium oilpan is a deal compared to the intake!

I think you could have your own intake cast for that much.

You'd think that for $23K, he would fly in and deliver it to you personally, but NOOOOO....

Hell for that price he should also furnish GOLD gaskets and install it on the engine!LOL Then you could remove the GOLD gaskets and put on some nice blue ones and sale the GOLD!
