Default Couple of items...

Looking for a few items for my 68 L78 Nova...
1.period correct SW tach and gauges(oil, amp, water) to mount under dash
2.original Gm/Chevy 8 track tape player that mounts under dash

original owner had these things installed day 1 at delivery 7/68
No rush on these, just wanted to start the process of collecting some of the pieces for the resto.

thanks, wilma

Are you looking for the correct Nova 8-track player or just a GM one? Here is one on Ebay that is listed as 67 or 68 Chevelle player. I think it is a 67 player but it is one of the nicest looking 8-track player I have seen in a while. The auction ends in an hour. I have an extra 1968 Pontiac player.

Just got this info from Team Chevelle.

1967 8-Track Player 7300481 Under-dash 8-Track* ###

### indicates this 8-track player mounts below the dash--ONLY installed in vehicles that did NOT have stereo MPX equipment.

Don't know what I'm looking for..how's that for quality control?? I would assume a correct Nova component, but I'm not sure..... thought I would locate one and then show a photo to the original owner. tw

you need the FM converter hangin by one screw with the Craig 8 track laying on top of the tranny hump, for the authentic circa 68 look..

I have an Audiovox FM converter. I got it in some boxes of parts I bought at an estate auction for $6. I'm planning to use it in my car when I install the factory 8-track player.
