Default Re: Deuce on ebay

To answer the questions in this thread. First let me start by saying that I have had the most unbelievable memories with this car in the 2 years that I owned it. Going down the track at the SCR and meeting all of my friends here have been priceless. Seeing the look on peoples faces in my neighborhood or at a show when I tell them YES after they ask me "is it real?" All that I will never forget and the people that helped me get this car and were there with me to enjoy it I once again thank you.

Now for the REAL reason I am selling my baby. This is not some candy ass attempt to "test the market." I hope those that know me would know that unless I was really going to sell my car, I couldn't care less what the market would bring. The car is in fact for sale and IMO will be gone by the end of the week based on the feedback I have gotten. The reason that it is for sale (not that I need to justify my actions to anybody) is that instead of holding on to this car I need to improve the lives of my family. It is as simple as that. I wish that I could take the money and "upgrade" but real life priorities prohibit that. I will still be in the muscle car hobby but just with a more "reasonable car."

To address some of the questions of the auction. I apologize that I did not post the car for sale here but the reserve on the car is my business. I am sorry if anybody on the site feels slighted by this fact. I can also assure all of you that the bids on this car are in fact REAL and will be shared with the high bidder if reserve is met. They can feel free to contact each and every one of them. I have nothing to hide and again I am sure that those that know me can vouch for that. The two bid retractions were someone playing around and I asked them to remove their bids.

I hope this is enough for everybody and I would hope that even though I will most likely not own a Yenko car I could still remain in the group.

Frank, you are doing it for the right reason, family. No disgrace in that. Many of us did the same thing back in the day. Why do you think us old farts are paying so much $$$ for them now?

Good luck with the sale...

Good luck on the sale Frank...I know you are more concerned with the car getting a good new home than selling the car to just anyone...you have some good memories in the car, but I'm sure you also made some good memories for the car and the next owner....heck - you made this one famous...at Marlins expense of course ...I know the people on this site don't keep you around just cause you own a Yenko car (if that were the case I would have been gone years ago!)...us youngins' are the keeper of the flame especially after these babyboomers burnout

Frank,
Sorry to hear that you are selling it but glad to hear that you are doing it for family betterment reasons and not to replace it with an **-*. Though that too was exciting, you will never regret doing it for the family. Take it from me, I know the cost of not taking care of the family.
