Exactly what happend to JJ? I read he was in a head on collision. But was he going racing, with family, or what?
And what was he driving?

He died in September of 1977 at the age of 32 after suffering fatal injuries in a head-on collision in his Corvette with a bus.

I good friend of mine saw that car at Capitol in 69/70 era. He said Grumpy was there with Jungle tuning the ZL1.
He was running a B/MP Candy Nova at the time. He said it had a sound of its own! Wayne

[/ QUOTE ] The accident happened on the Schuylkill Expressway (a major artery into Philadelphia) before there was a center barricade, the local report was that he crossed over the line intentionally
