John,

Then post the pictures and help Darren out. Darren, any doubt just pull the heads.

Maybe you guys can help me out with your comments on these 2 pics. Again, the thing that looks odd with the 2nd one you posted Darren is not the stamped numbers but the surface area it was stamped into. Its fairly easy to stamp the pad but much harder to replicate the broach marks with the correct "chatter" marks. All of it can be faked to where experienced judges cannot tell.
Give me your comments please as I'm always eager to learn

Here are a couple of shots of my car's motor with heads removed during rebuild to show continuation of broach marks.

Sam,

Great pictures to have. Exactly the kind of documentation a buyer would want. We all know how tough it is to do your due diligence when considering a purchase. At the rate the scammers are improving their techniques and the price of the cars we will be carbon dating paperwork and other such extremes. Sorta like the "Shroud of Turin."

I'll try and attach 2 better pictures. I wish I knew how to insert them in the body of the post.

Howard - set up a Photobucket! account. Its free and easy. You can then load pix to this account from your computer files and now they are hosted (a min requirement for posting pix here). Copy the 1st address line below your picture in photobucket and paste it into your message at SYC website using the "<font color="red"><u>Image</u></font> " listing under "Instant UBB Code". You can size the pix in photobucket with the simple edit feature so they will fit into constraints of this web site. In the mean time, send me the largest photos you have of these stamp pads and I will post them for you.

Thanks Xplantdad!
