Default On Display

I put my the 455 for my Cutlass, in my computer room today for display. This is only until I finish my other cars and I buy the remaining drive train components.

I know you guys are more use to "rare cars", but I thought you guys might be interested in a low buck restification on a non-yenko.

I will be finishing the drive train to my Cutlass this year. It will consist of a Richmond Road Race 5speed, Lakewood blowproof bellhousing, chromemoly driveshaft (PST), Strange S-60 dana 3.54 gears.

The engine came out of my '70 Delta. All of the machine work is done and I am just waiting on parts to assemble the motor. I am going to be using a Mondello mechanical cam, two 500cfm AFBs.

The color of the block is what the body color of the car will be after the body work is done. (qtrs, fenders, floors, trunk lid, rear window, hood.)

And this is the Cutlass I am shoving the 455 into.

Did someone Photoshop the picture of that Olds?
If not and that is for real I would make sure them Belts are “Real Tight”.
That is going to a “Wild Ride” with that Short Wheelbase.

People actually pay me money to do that to pictures of their cars.

So, what kind of numbers are you looking for out of your motor? Looks like you are running fairly low compression. Those Olds sure are torque monsters.

I am going to be using a Mondello solid cam (.562"/.562", 258/264deg @.050). Compression with the 77cc chambers in the heads are suppose to work out to 9.75:1. I'm shooting for close to 550hp with the dual quad.

Oldsmobile don't let me down!
