With a black grille? Seems to be the 'wrong' detail.

That must be a picture of the prototype because I have 3 Creative Master '69 Z's (2 Hugger Orange & 1 LeMans Blue)and all three have silver grilles.

The detail on these is awesome, especially with the real metal emblems.

For all you 2nd. Gen fans,Franklin Mint is coming out with a '70 1/2 Z/28 in various colors ($69) and it is due to ship in December.I have pre-ordered mine in Hugger Orange of course from Supercar Collectables.

You can visit them at www.supercar1.com

God rest his soul...I wish Ron Voorhees could have seen that HO Y-Camaro commemorative diecast of his car. Our hobby was honored by his participation and passion

Those look great. Sent copy of this thread to Diecast Pub site. COPO looks really neat. I wish they'd do my car...Garnet Red, double copo, no spoilers...hint, hint.

I have 2 Creative Masters Z/28's, Hugger Orange and Lemans Blue and both of my grills are black! I must have purchased diecast clones!

These look great. I have 2 Franklin Mint 69 Z's and 2 Danbury Mint 69's One Z and One SS. The Yenko is way more detailed!

I sent Rob the final version of the X66 Yenko. It had many changes from the prototype. Some subtle changes like the dome lamp was 180 degrees out, some trim needed removed, black rocker panel treatment, spare tire placment etc. Small detail like the Yenko mag decal, Canonsburg plate frame and many others were done, and yes PTB marks on the firewall. Danbury really did a great job with the car considering the 1/24th scale. The first car was selected as Orange and the car is based on Ron Voorhees and Don Stowers car. Future releases will be I believe another X66 maybe two, an X11 and 2 X44 versions. The silver COPO was a mule for the others to come. There is talk about other dealer built models later. I will update as I get updated. Frank Arones COPO was used for the models as well as Barry Coughlins OG Yenko Camaro. Thanks for all the help with this project guys. I think Danbury did a great job and if these are a big hit, I am sure many others will follow..BKH
