Default What a crime

I was on my way to work this morning when I spot a 1969 GT500 approaching an intersection. The car was obviously unrestored and needed to be gone over but the disturbing thing that I saw was someone, in their infinite wisdom, thought it would be a good idea to cut some T-tops into the roof.
If I see the car again and it's stopped I am going to be forced to make the guy an offer just to save the car from any further scarring. This is my dream car, or one of them anyway, and someone thought so little of it to do that to it? What a crime.

Didn't you know, T-Tops are cool. At least it wasn't a Moon Roof, then somebody would have to be tortured...

Reminds me of the time when I just finished having my car painted in the early 90's. A guy at work was asking to see how it turned out so I brought in pictures. He looked at them quietly for a few seconds. Then he says with all seriousness, "It looks great but you know what it needs? A nice sunroof". I stopped talking to him from that moment on.

Nope, an older man was driving it. He was pulling out of the street across from Viking Yacht; alongside the ice cream stand. The car was maroon with the gold side stripe...........and T-tops
