Default Question for NJSTEVE

Hey, Steve . . . didn't see ya at Carlisle this year . . .

Anyway, I was curious if the V24 decals on your car were only available with the V21 stripes? Your car does not have the V21, so either they are mutually exclusive or you added the V24 decals yourself. What's the skinny?

I missed Carlisle this year because everyone I was going to go with bailed out. Didnt want to go alone, so I just worked on the 72 T/A all weekend, finishing up the frame.

You could get the hood 4 ways: just body color, body color with the V24 HEMI or 440 reflective call out decals, V21 black out sections alone, or V21 black out sections with the V24 HEMI or 440 reflective call out decals. Here's the link to the pictures of the V24 only, and then the V21/V24 after I repainted it last summer. She looks a lot meaner now.

Gotta love the obscure Mopar options. BTW, the Charger is supposed to be in the September issue of Musclecar Enthusiast that comes out this week. I haven't seen it yet but I keep checking my mailbox everyday. (the postman proabably stole it again!)

"BTW, the Charger is supposed to be in the September issue of Musclecar Enthusiast that comes out this week."

Got my copy a few days ago in the mail. They did a nice spread on your Charger. Were you pleased with how they handled the article (I see they took credit for your story, i.e. the one you submitted to "Members Rides" awhile back). Any lessons learned on dealing with editors? Congratlations on the nice spread on "Christine II".

I was trying to think of what else I was going to say, as I had planned on saying something next time I was on the Net. Now I remember. . . CONGRATS, STEVE!

Thank you. I provided them with a bunch of info on the car and the link to the story here and I guess they used a bunch of it! Nice guys there. I used to work with the Editor, Steve Statham 15 years ago when I was at Musclecar Review. He actually got to drive that car home when it was delivered along with another car of mine, after I moved to Florida. I couldnt find anyone else who wanted to drive it, so he stepped in. Very nice of him.
