I agree the picture of the engine stamp is fantastic!

Rick, How did you take that picture? My wife has this fancy, shmancy 8 mp camera and I can't get it to focus on the stamp from up close like that.

Thanks, Mark

Belair62;

Just look at it this way. If they see the restoration while your doing it they can't complain later about what you did.

Well, knowing these guys, yes they would.

Just send them to me, I won't complain.

Greg

Regarding the block pad pictures. I had the advantage of having the engine out of the car. I think if you set the camera on it's "Macro" setting you should be able to get as close as 4" from the subject. I'm not an expert photagrapher but what I've learn about taking digital pictures is that it's not about how many mega pixels your camera has it's about lighting, when to use the flash (almost never) and try to always use a tripod and a timed shutter so you are not touching and/or shakeing the camera at the instant the picture is exposed. Mega pixels make the picture bigger not better. All the pictures I have on the auction were taken with an inexpencive 2.2 mega pixel camera.

If I could afford to own the car it would stay here around Houston!But being I am working on too many projects that I have to complete I better let someone else have it!I think it is a SUPERB LOOKING NOVA.I like it just the way it is and It would get DRIVEN if it belonged to me!I think you did a hell of a job restoring the car.I don't want to own anything I cant drive and have fun with,well I can't afford a car that I couldn't drive! LOL! Got to drive them Baby's to show them off and have fun.What is going to be your next project.

Ralph

Thanks for the comments. I remember sending you some pictures midway through restortation.

Also, just to correct an earlier post, my reserve is not 60K it is quite a few thousands of dollars less than that.
