			Hi All,

I'm new to chevys and to the site. Great site. I'm trying to confirm what is the correct tach for my 69 396/325 4 speed camaro. The car has no tach(odd) but I hate not having one. So, while restoring, I'd like to do it with the right one. I'm confused betweeen a 7000max/5500 redline or 7000max/6000 redline. I also am in need of YJ trim rings, smog stuff, and a correct rear for an 03E car Thanks Rick |

			Hi Mr T,

thanks for the feedback. What would the car setup look like if it had a console but no tach? would a clock be where the gas gage is(right side large gas gage)? |

Unless you have a CA car. You do not need smog stuff on this motor. Earl |

Hi Mr T, What would the car setup look like if it had a console but no tach? would a clock be where the gas gage is(right side large gas gage)? [/ QUOTE ] With or without a console, you could have the large gas guage on the right and the clock in the center, or just the gas gauge with no clock. The U-16 gauge option consisted of a tach on the right and a gas guage in the center, just like the picture Charley showed you. However, the U-16 guage option was avaiable with or without a console. The U-17 gauge option would consist of a gas gauge, water temp gauge, oil pressure guage, and the battery amp guage on the console, with the tach on the right and a clock in the center, on the dash, behind the steering wheel. Good luck! ![]()

As far as I know all the 69 Camaro's with big blocks had smog. Maybe a Canadian car with smog delete might exist ?
