That's what friends are for. I remember meeting Ron at one of the reunions & loved his car. It's in good hands once again

So, anyone got any suggestions for the "big block" shootout at SCR8? The Deuces kinda got their thing off and running, so we need something for us BBC guys...street tires, or no tubs, or anything goes, or don't sweat the details? LV says he's in with the '70 DH car, I'm sure our yellow car wouldn't mind stretching it's legs, Dru and Gerling are gonna be hot-lapping their cars anyway so they might as well join in, and the Hassetts have already said their '68 BM car WILL be in tip-top shape and takin' names this year...

so why not have a run off of the different Cars

BM V BM
Yenko V Yenko
Harrell V Harell
Dana V Dana
Nickey V Nickey
COPO V COPO and then the top dog in each makers catagory
get put into a ladder against the others with the TOP DOG taking it all.

This is what I get for not checking the board daily! If you guys will let my lowely Olds in the fray again, I will be there with a grin on my face! As for matchups, I will take on anyone else with a/c!

Some neat big blocks mentioned above, but that "anything thing" goes could get interesting with a dose or two of superstock/prostock cars. You got Barnhart in his orange crate ZL-1, Howie in his "purple powered" machine, Porterfield has been known to show up in ZL-1 #1, and there is rumor of another "built" car or two showing.

And speaking of Howie and the "Purple Power" '70 Camaro, he has already started talking smack, trying to "set me up" by telling me no way could he run with my funny car, that it was too light, too quick, too fast, yada, yada, yada. That is the oldest trick in the book. Sorry Kim, not buying today.
