Hello Everyone,
I've been reading the boards here for a while trying to educate myself on Camaros, the more I read the more I realize how little I actually know. Well, the time has come to begin the search for a car. It must be a first gen but after that it is negotiable. Maybe someone has a project they have lost interest in? I am near Pensacola, Fl and hopefully can find something within driving distance. Thanks in advance to everyone. ![]() |

Hi Seaspray... Welcome. Are you looking for a Supercar type car ? Or a stock Z28 type car? Maybe a modified car? Pricerange ? www.camaros.net also has a good forum for finding out about Camaros.

Hi,
I'm pretty open on the type of car. I thought I found a great deal on a Z28 over at TeamCamaro but then never heard back. I would consider any from a plain Jane on up. Even a body would be a good starting point. Thanks |

Not a SuperCar,or even a Musclecar, but there is a 1967 or 68 Camaro small block sitting in a Garage down the street from me.
I discovered it last year when the door was open. The owner is the original,& bought it new when he returned from Vietnam. It is verrrrry run down.Probably won't even start & needs a complete resto.I could only get within 50 feet of it,looks like a shade of blue.I think it's a NICKEY Camaro,he said it's from a popular Illinois Hi-po Dealership. He told me he has no plans to sell it,or fix it up. That's just where he is in his life, but did take my phone number,so who knows. |
