Man what can be said about that color!!! Its so much better looking standing a foot away than one would think. Got to see the car in person at SCR7 as well and like most others, took plenty of pictures of it. Nice to see the site here (Yenko.net) mentioned in the article as well.

Phil, Congrats on making it into Super Chevy Mag.

Don White had the exhuast put on it, it's a flow master system with custom bent 3" pipes with the factory chrome extensions it fits perfectly.

DaJudge, those gears and bumpstick never made it to Pat when he got the car, but a host of other NOS and original pieces did, including that smog system. I wondered who had that system put on. It was actually a 2-1/2" system with the 40 series mufflers and they did sound good. We were going to put the original manifolds and exhaust back on the car, but it would have killed the engine from the amount of backpressure it would have created. Now the system is gone and a set of 18" x 3" collector extensions that I fabricated are in place. It gives the car a killer Super Stock sound! All the current owner needs is a set of 10" wide slicks and it would jerk the front wheels off of the ground! The original owner stated that it scared the Hell out of him when he first got it back from Jenkins/Strickler, I will have to agree!! ..........RatPack..............

Yep, know him pretty well. He's got a few sweet toys to say the least.
Funny thing is even though we live about 1/2 mile from each other, I firts met him in Michigan at the Berger All-Chevy show a few years back.

I believe that Tom Schlauch(TJS44) has his 1969 Trans Am with the RAV motor on the cover of a Pontiac High Performance Magazine( I don't remember the name...that's what happens when you get old)...I briefly looked at the magazine at the store, though I haven't bought it yet. Since I already get too many magazines...I got the evil eye from my wife when I was looking at it. I'll have to go to the store "alone" and score it.

Anyways, nice write up and pictures Tom...and congratulations! .

If no one posts pictures soon, I'll scan the article and pictures when I get the magazine.
