Mr. Hawaiian Camaro; Do you have any trim tags showing the useage of a "911" Dover White paint code on any 12xxx9 Camaro F-Body's?? I'd LOVE to see that documented!!

The 911 code is part of GM's RPO code shown on the window stickers and shipper copies, not the Fisher paint code shown on the trim tag. All of the 69 Camaro option codes consist of 4 numbers starting with the number 5 and have a two letter suffix, hence the complete code shown on the window sticker is "5911CC 50-50 Dover White". None of these RPO designations are the same as the paint code designation on the trim tags. Since GM wrote the letter anouncing the introduction of the Z11 it only makes sence they would use their designations instead of Fisher's codes. The two letter suffix usually (in the case of non paint codes) coincide with the broadcast code of the part, or parts that make up the option. In the case of paint codes the two letters are always the same, in this case CC. I'm not sure but these letters may just be a carry over from the original paint code from 1967 for an ermine white car (code C), or they may be a master list of colors that designates what letters go which which color.

Ahhh, ok. I understand that now. I do wish I had my original build sheet off of my car as I would see it in that listing there.
Of all the Camaro's Ive had over the years, Ive never been fortunate enough to have one in a car...
So for the purposes of that inside GM document circulating, it was for the assembly plant use and inside Chevrolet notifications respectively; I would guess the dealers would have received similar Documents for the purposes of the order being available and to me obviously would be different from this one here...
