Description of the car from BJ web site..... COLOR - ORANGE PEARL TRANS - 3SPEED CYLINDERS - V8 ENGINE SIZE - 278 FOLKS THERE'S A NEW MOVIE JUST CAME OUT - MILLION DOLLAR BABY. WELL BARRETT-JACKSON HAS THERE OWN MILLION DOLLAR BABY. PROBABLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL 32 FORD EVER BUILT. BUILT IN SAN JOSE CA. IN 1952. CARS WITH PROVEN HISTORYS LIKE THIS CAR HAS ARE USUALLY TRADED PRIVETLY. WE FEEL VERY LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO BRING THIS ONE TO YOU. AN ARDEN EQUIPPED BLOWN ORIGINAL 32 FORD. IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS. TRY OAKLAND TWICE IN THE 50`S AND AGAIN IN 97. RACED AS A FUEL BURNING ROADSTER IN THE LATE 50`S BY THE WELL KNOWN DRAG RACER AL CEBRIEN. PARKED IN A GARAGE FOR 34 YEARS, THEN DISCOVERED AND BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE AS YOU SEE IT HERE. WINNER OF OVER 20 BEST IN SHOW AWARDS AND FEATURED ON NATIONAL TV MANY, MANY TIMES. IT SHOULD BE IN A MUEUM. THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. |

Thanks VERY much Bruce! Your coverage helped me a lot (since I don't even have cable). Still trying to figure out those 409 car prices. Wish I knew more about them to better judge the value. By the way, if anyone wants to get a good handle on the actual high bid (minus fees), just divide the listed final sold price by 1.16. It will be close, since BJ apparently "rounds off" some things. We also don't know which buyers were AZ residents, which would add another 5 or 6%. Verne. |
