Go on Google and type in "license plate restoration" in the search box. Numerous hits will appear for various plate restoration shops.

Going strictly from my ever-failing memory here, so please excuse any errors..........

There is a guy named A.V. Polio somewhere in Connecticut who has been advertising license plate restoration for about a zillion years. I know I have read letters to Hemmings from many satisfied customers over the years. Just one of those bits of worthless trivia I've stuck in the back of my head in case I ever found myself in need of license plate restoration (which I haven't...).

I've had Bryce do a few CA black plates for me,both car and M/C,some have been well "enjoyed"and they came out great.I measure them up against an NOS pair and you would be hard pressed to tell the diff,he's not the quickest turn around but well worth the wait IMHO-
