'78 Winter Nationals Pics

I ran across all these old pic's I took at the '78 Winter Nationals at the old Bee-Line Dragstrip in Phoenix. I apologize for how crappy they are, but I was just a teenager with a 110 camera. Maybe somebody might recognize some of the cars. Look closely and in one of them Don Garlits is wrenching On Shirley Muldowney's car.

Neat pics. Not only do I recognize some of the cars - I recognize the mountains in the background One week from today, I will be driving right by them and the old timing tower, which is still standing there on the property
