for some reason I'm getting an email notice for PMs now I hated the "car horn" alert.. More than once I was feeding my daughter looking at the forum and unknowingly had the volume too high... the HONK! happened and scared the bejesus out of her. Made her jump and cry and she spit the bottle out... Damn car horn

All of those issues are adressed in your "my home", Ed, and can be turned on/off. The beauty of this software is the adjustability to the user's likings, but not all people know it's available.

I would encourage everyone to take a look around their "my home"!

[ QUOTE ]
Did everyone notice that the server time is different. I had to adjust my posting times by -2 hours to correct the times I post compared to the servers.

[/ QUOTE ]

I had to go to -4 Jeff, you're 2 or 3 behind me so how did -2 work for you? It should be -6 or -7 for you...

The PM alert (or "car horn" as Mark puts it! ) is back! But, if you don't care for it, you can easily go to "My Home" and turn off JUST the horn, or the horn and pop-up box BOTH. That's the neat part, as you can taylor it to however you want it. But, by default, BOTH the pop-up box and car horn was set to "on" for all users when it was re-installed.
