Rick I believe that was an LS-5 claimed to be unrestored. I think Ed took a better look at it than I did .

The VF show was a great one for sure. Gary H, Mike G, and Tom C, did their best to accomidate all and the special guests were indeed special. My favorite car in the display was that 66 race-prepped Stinger. What an evil car. I really had a good time visiting with board members and enthusiasts alike. Joe and Franks cars were well recieved and I was honored to work on both of those cars. Both of those guys are serious about their cars. Thanks for all the nice comments on the cars. What a special collection it was and in late November as well. Thanks to Chad, Rick, Phil Borris and others for their support as well...BKH

Mayor Potter, here is the TOP GUN
From what I heard it was a close call between the two blue cars but the Harrell Camaro's tires where not as clean as the Copo's. Great job Caleb!! ![]() |

Great pics Chuck. How bout this one of one of the board members 66 Vette!!! I want to say the top of the owners head is just above the top of the opened hood, or is it Wilson from Tool Time fame

BKH has told us what his favorite car on display at VF was. Lets hear yours.
Mine would be the Blue/Yellow Penske race Corvette, with Kevin's a close second. I have a passion for race "Vettes, especially '63-67.

In my limited time Friday night I have to pick that darn Black COPO Camaro...something about those redlines on black but there were 2 really neat early straight axle Vettes that were tough..looked like Sebring cars ...didn't get to look too long...I was with hungry people..

sYc/Jeff, Allow me to (sadly) correct you, the cars in that pic WERE race cars now they are "objects of art" as it`s doubtful NONE of them will ever see competition again.

My fav had to be Chad/Rick N 70 Dick Harrell Camaro....can't beat the originals!
Close seconds had to be John Hornbacks beautifully restored Fencl Tufo Forest Green/white stripe Deuce or Gene Englers awesome color combo Cranberry Red/white stripe Fencl Tufo Deuce. Both Day 2 cars! BTW for the Deuce lovers out there John Hornback took his Deuce to Byron and ran a 13.09! Good for him! (Marlin you have some catching up to do! )
