That fact was never in question, of course he got some early cars - he sold one of the 10 gold ones.

I know of 2 O-Gold Yenko Chevelles, one a/t sold out of Yenko Chev. now belongs to Greg Joseph. The other a 4speed out of Hult in Madison, WI, sold new to a doctor in Madison, don't know if that one survived.

Noticed that this car is still for sale. I'm not that knowledgeable but thought documented Yenkos were worth more than the asking price of this car.
