Default M-21 Tranny tag?

I have the original transmission for my 69 Yenko Camaro, I am told there is a metal tag that is supposed to be attached by one of the bolts. Does anyone know what this tag represents and the number that goes on it? Tranny is a M-21 close ratio

The tag has the part number for the complete assembly and the 2 digit letter code such as "WO" which would be M-22. The letter code can be found on the build sheet. I do not have my books accessable at the moment for the part number and code for the M-21. Perhaps others do. I have usually found the tags attached on one of the bottom bolts of the side cover.

Shor,
Your Douglass Yenko appears to have the original trans tag, you should compare it to Billigen's. I have never seen a Yenko Camaro Build sheet, do they exist?

Obviously Yenkos did not have their own build sheet. What I was trying to say, since I do not have my build sheet file with me, just look at another build sheet with an M-21 for the 2 letter code.

T Billigen, I may have a used tag at the shop and will check and gladly send it to you if it is the right part number and code.

Sorry, what you need is a tag with the WL code after the part number. As it turns out, that is not the one I have. I have seen these for sale in the past but not sure from whom. Perhaps Larry Patten?

Some of the tranny guys over at Team Chevelle can also be of assistance as many of them have extra tags.
