Mark, unless Vintage has changed there quality since we bought our trailers I am not real impressed with some things on them. If you want a nice trailer check out Classic trailers. They are a bit more expensive, but very well built. I am going to probably go that direction myself in another year or so. The elite 2's look better than the vintage also. I was not impressed with the wells cargo trailers I have seen or used, entry level at best. Make sure you definitly upgrade the axles this time, with the added weight of cabinets, floor etc. The 6 lugs min. My 2 cents. Micky

mark,
i may have a 24 ft. US cargo trailer available in a week or so. it is 110 volt wired and also has battery operated lights, 8000 lb winch, built in cabinets, electric jack. the winch and jack were just installed. this unit will be half the price of a new one.

Mark, after a lot of shopping and comparisons I purchased a 20' Pace Shadow last year. I have been extremely satisfied with it and found it the best quality for the price. One option that I would highly recomend is the upgrade axles, standards on all trailers are 7000lbs (2-3500) for $500 I got 2-5000 lb axles, six lug wheels and went from load range C to load range D tires, front frame went from 6'' boxed to 8'' boxed. The six lug wheels give you a much larger hub and bearing. If you buy the used unit check the axle ratings.

I am at a Stand Still as the guy that wanted my old trailer hasn't gotten back to me yet. I mainly want a new one because I really want the side escape door and a winch. As you said Micky I do want the axle upgrade and the 6 lug min. Thanks again for all the comments and opinions.
Mark
