Project plug wire.........

I like these wires in an application like this. The 7mm wires fit nicely where they need to fit. I used this same kit on the HM L88.

And I just set up shop. On one of these cars, this job will take about a little over 2 hours. I enjoy little jobs like this where the finish line is a short distance.

The kit does not come through with the right distributor ends, so those came from the parts store. A sharp eye will detect they sent me one wrong end.

The Pertronix crimper is the bomb. I've had this for years and it just works!

The wires are installed and the car runs like a swiss watch. Once I get the right distributor end, I can make the coil wire

I like doing plug wires. There is something satisfying about neatly routed wires. I hate wires just laying on the valve covers and falling over the headers.

Appreciate it, Tim. I have steered clear of Petronix stuff for years but good to know their wires are worth looking into.

Now that I review your pics, I’m wondering - is the condenser “strap” a special narrow version required to fit inside the channel of the bracket? The one on my car is too wide to fit in that channel. Thanks!
