Looking for some Cragar SS 15 inch wheels for the 70 Nova L78 TH400 car. Original owner was a Grumpy fan, he had Cragars and black walls on the car Day 2.
Probably 15 x 7 or 8 for the rear...15 x 6 or a little smaller for the front. Car has patina...so wheels can have some wear and tear. Let me know...thanks. -wilma

I have a pair of 15x7 4.25 backspace 1-piece Aluminum Cragar SS. Appear to have had tires mounted, but wheels never bolted to a car. GM 4.75 bolt pattern direct fit. In original boxes. Do not have caps at this time. Very rare wheels. $500 plus shipping if interested.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a pair with the Cragar name cast near the valve stem. Did they do that for a certain period and stop?

Yes, they did…but only on the aluminum version. These are not the typical chrome steel Cragar SS that everyone is accustomed to…they are 1-piece polished aluminum.

Hmmm didn’t know these existed. Did they make them in all sizes like steel- chrome rim ones?

I’ve seen 15x7 and 15x8. I haven’t personally seen anything other than those sizes, but that’s not to say they weren’t made.

I bought a set of those aluminum cast S/S from Summit Racing for my ‘66 396 Caprice back in 2010/2011. For a little while the people that had Cragar were pretty aggressive on offering variations, unilug, direct bolt, and these cast aluminum wheels with “Cragar” visible on the face by the valve stem. They’re a neat looking wheel, but do present a little different than the chrome aluminum/steel versions.
