Yesterday while discussing storage options for my 67 L79 Corvette in Sarasota I ran across a stored car. This little gem was from Alabama, the dealer owned the car and never sold it back in the day. It stayed in the showroom, and would be used annually for parades and other special occasions. It was obviously original paint. It is a very well optioned car. Take a look. The only knock was column shifted power glide. For the life of me I can't understand why someone would not had spend a few extra dollars for the console and gauges.
I don't have a picture of it but it had a perfect condition dated convertible top. Lawrence

Wow, what a great survivor !
My first '67 was column shift. No console and a slender girl friend work very well together... What never made sense to me was, A/C in a convertible ???

The details under the hood are nice to see for reference. I like the taped paint line at the cowl. Clearly what I will do with mine.
Painted master and distribution block, phosphate hinges, zinc springs.... etc.

My 1968 Grotto Blue RS/SS-396 Camaro Convertible I frame off restored in 1990 had factory A/C but Power drum brakes. I never understood (Other than early problems with the GM (4) piston Disc brakes) why someone would go to the added expense of A/C but not upgrade to the Disc brake system in such a front heavy car. I bought a ‘69 Pace Car from Fink Chevrolet in Horicon, WI that had a similar background, that was 1981 and it has 12,000 miles. It sat in the back of their shop for parades and summer driving.

That engine compartment looks to be at least partially restored. I see repop parts as well. Just making an observation, but wouldn't use this as an unrestored reference.

Just asking.
IIRC there is crossover of non-disc masters between '67 Camaro's and '67 Chevelle's. Wouldn't a power drum Camaro master have bleeders as does a power drum Chevelle master?? - Bill W |

Yes power drum should have bleeders, non-power don't.
