Beautiful car- have to say - I've never seen a yellow on GREEN Corvette before. I did have a Gobi Beige on green Chevelle at one time, which I suppose is similar....
Surprisingly, this color combo actually works pretty well. Looks better than it sounds. Link to 1966 Corvette 427 Convertible auction ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 194676s118241 |

I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen the trim tag. Wow, thank you for posting this one.

Weird color scheme. I don't believe that trim tag is real, but would need a better pic to evaluate. Seems odd someone would fake a yellow and green car.

----This is a pretty car, but suffers from something I'm seeing more and more aside from a couple of things under the hood. The reproduction seats are far from original. The pleats are not anywhere deep enough. I wonder where the covers came from, but I see it more and more. Correct looking seats are harder to manufacture and more expensive, but my big fear is that people coming into the hobby the last several years have no clue what is correct so they keep buying them. Rant over!.....Bill S

Wrong tach for a 66 390 car.

I thought that too, when I saw it, but I'm the last person to question Corvette etiquette. I know of no other hydraulic lifter engines that red lined that high.

Factory 1966 and 1967 Corvette "427" 390 or 400 hp (67 only) hydraulic lifter engines redline at 6,000 rpm.
