| NoS Hurst V-gate Shifter.

New never used Hurst V-gate Shifter for the Muncie. This comes with 2 sets of levers. This is all new. No factory box. Sorry. This is something I wanted to use, but I just don't see it going into my car. I do not need to sell, so if you do not like my price, please move on. $1500.00 pick up, or $1600.00 shipped with insurance. Text is the best way to contact me. 918-938-1673

Text sent- **Anyone use one of these for a serious "street machine" before? How does the upshifting, down-shifting work compared to standard H-Pattern shifters? Much appreciate any feedback! Cheers Jerry |

I've got a Hurst Ramrod in my Camaro and I drive it on the street. It's pretty much the same as the V Gate as far as driving. I don't have any problems with it. You just have to pull up on the small T handle when down shifting. I don't have any problems with missing 3rd gear anymore. It will require a large hole in the floor to mount it.

The huge hole for it is the only reason I won't put one in my restored cars anymore. Had one 44 years ago and loved it on the street, BUT, it's kind of like having Purple Hornies under the seat. A person tends to use the equipment a bit aggressively more often than necessary...
