Selling for a friend...1970 CTX stamp 396/350hp motor out of a running car. Chevelle VIN...clean motor/ran good. It is all together...oil pan, timing cover, balancer, chrome factory valve covers...no intake or distributor.

854 block...D 23 70 May 22nd assembly date
290 heads...E 11 70 and E 5 70

Here are some photos of the casting dates, deck stamp and the engine. As you can see very clean inside...each cylinder was checked with a scope thru the spark plug hole...they all look good.
