SOLD
Hi Everyone, I have some Old Stock R12 available - must be shipped ground, so will go FedEx FYI. Both are the so-called thirty pound cylinders. 1st - R12 by GUNK - showing a weight of 33 pounds 13 ounces 2nd - R12 by SERCON - showing a weight of 25 pounds 7 ounces - plastic handle broken off. Two canisters total. i'm guessing the TW at about 5 pounds each. That would make #1 to be holding 28 pounds of Freon and #2 about 20 pounds. Total of an ESTIMATED combined 768oz which is the 48 pounds by my above estimates - no tare weights stamped on these bottles that I can see. And please remember, by law, only trained & licensed professionals should deal with evacuating and or filling R12 systems shipped ground FedEx to the 48. (about $1 per oz plus the shipping) Cheers all, Anthony Last edited by AnthonyS; 09-20-2020 at 04:14 AM. Reason: sold |

That’s a good deal. Under 20$ a pound. If I find just find a tank, I’d be begging for one. Lol

Hi again all, further to my related post; I listed these here for $800 shipped.
I took them to the very next swap meet and sold them before I finished unloading my truck to some of the local vultures for $600. Later, a "friend" vulture told me those guys sell to one of those big online refrigerant buying conglomerates (my word) for $16 per pound net. So, that's what these were worth that day in the wild here. Cheers all, be merry! Anthony |
