I have the below air cleaner lid - certainly original IMHO based on where and for long it's been...

The decals looks original - paper type and the folded lip / edge does not appear as the repop lids - it definitely has age to it - and the gasket looks original as well.

As shown in the photos - it's slightly less than 17" too, 16"7/8 to the very outside maybe.

Not terribly banged up or pitted and has a good used car patina - would clean up well, again, IMHO. Likely even restore easily.
