Some progress today. Carb on, new lines and filter in. Up and running. Has a couple of fuel leaks, nothing major. I need a few bits and pieces now, things that I cannot get here so hopefully in a couple of weeks we will be ready for summer.

How is your gasoline / petrol down under? Better than the junk we have in the States? How much is it per liter / gallon?

The fuel here for the most part is rubbish. Being a bit player in a lot of things on the world stage, I think we get the dregs as far as fuel is considered. I run 98 octane premium but still need to run an octane booster as well. Premium fuel runs anywhere from $1.50- $185 plus a litre, adding in $14- $18 for a bottle of booster for every tank, it's an expensive proposition every time you fill up.
