Absolutely love the “king of the surf guitar”’s music. His story is a very interesting read, as well. Another famous left hand player who learned to play on a right hand guitar, Albert King , another.

He once had a house right at the end of Balboa Island=overlooking the Wedge body surfing beach-but I believe that he lost it to the IRS at one point.
He collaborated with Gary Hoey for the Endless Summer II soundtrack, too! Another good one gone!
