It'd be nice to find an original Ed Stinn decal (hint hint).
Went through the car a little more today. The bad is that the original harness has the wiper motor wires and heater box wires cut short at the terminal block so I'll have to look for an original front wiring harness. Also needs a heater core, wiper transmission, and a new cowl panel as the holes were filled in and painted back in the day. The good news is that it retains the original M21 dated October 28th, and the original 3:31 12 bolt dated October 17. Might try and find a nice CTB block for it down the road somewhere. Car is 10B so those both align perfectly. The 2nd owner is also sending me a bunch of original pictures from the car from when he owned it over a 24 year span. His neighbor bought it new in 70 from Ed Stinn, added the day 2 mods in the 70's and kept it until 1992. Gary then bought it and kept it until 2016 where it was sold to Mel. Now I'll turn the clock back on it somewhat. ![]() ![]()

Thought I'd share some pictures provided by Gary Cunningham (the second owner) that show the original car with the original owner. Most of these I am told are from 1970 to 1972 when the car was setup with it's day 2 gear. Looks good with the M/T black valve covers, Cragar SS wheels and the J-bolt traction bars that are still on it now (going to restore them back to yellow and have original decals for them as well). The car has 36,000 miles on it and is still in excellent condition with all original sheet metal intact. Looks like I am it's 4th owner after Mel had it for 2 years. Only spot of rust anywhere on the car is a couple bubbles on the right rear fender lip. They will be addressed and blown in this winter.
![]() Original stance when new. ![]() Looks like rear tires were changed. ![]() Still very original looking ![]() Bench seat car ![]() Wheels, J-Bars and Thrust exhaust under there now. ![]() Looks like M/T slicks on the rear ![]() Good shot of the Lakewood bars which are still on the car now. ![]() Don't know what he's holding up here? Parts carton perhaps? ![]() Look at that 70's hair. I remember those days. Black M/T covers too. ![]() Original interior w/ bench

Congrats on your purchase. A beautiful car for sure! I've known about that car since the early 70's, a fellow named Gurkovich owned it and worked at the Sunoco station at Tiedemann Rd. & Brookpark Rd. He used to leave it on the corner of the station when he worked there. I believe he lived in the West Park area of Cleveland. The car was present at the Last Night at Diney's Drive-In on West 117th st. in October of 1975, which had to close due to the construction of I-90 interstate in the area. I remember he had a built 327 with tunnelram and dual quads on the car and with 5:13's, it was wickedly fast! He and a fellow named Duely (spelling?) with a Red 1966 Street Hemi Belvedere hit it off at the light on W.117th & Elmwood Ave. at the end of the evening! I am a friend of Gary Cunningham, the next owner who used to live in the West Park area, and he returned the car to a more streetable vehicle to cruise with during his ownership. It sure brings back memories seeing those pictures! Good Luck with your purchase and keep us updated. Don.
