My guess would be executive car, billed to Delco Moraine. employee cars usually went through a dealer even though there may have been an employee discount. This car went to Delco Moraine for a reason, if not as a test or development then probably for a executive.

I received my NCRS letter today on the 1968 Camaro I recently purchased. Dealer Code 120 in zone 14 City Chevrolet, Baltimore, Maryland. Very Cool! It must have headed South a long time ago, It was titled in Mississippi until recently. Tommy |

A sale to a GM division is usually a car for the executive pool and these sometimes are purposed for engineering testing or as a "company car" for travel between divisions etc. After about 6 months they were usually posted on bulletin boards or in the division newsletter for sale to employees. They couldn't be sold as new but did have the remainder of the new car warranty. My folks got a few cars this way. Never heard of any hi-po cars. Mostly high-line Caddies or Buicks but also many plain janes.
