Sounds good. I am running full 3" from the headers back through Thrust mufflers and electric cut outs when needed to make a little more noise.

I've got my license now, but I'm terrified of this car. Manual steering and manual drums does not go with 2017's version of an 18 year old. I need to get to an empty parking lot with it and just spend some time getting familiar with it. Jp, I've seen your thread. Gorgeous '67! I *believe* this car had Thrush welded mufflers on it before hand, but with 2.25" pipe. It was too damned quiet!

Ordered a steering wheel to replace that 90s Chevy truck wheel. Went for one that I know has been around since the 80s, since one is in Rick Dobbertin's old ProStreet Nova.

With manual steering you're going to find that the truck wheel was a lot easier to grab hold of and turn rather than this smaller foam wheel you ordered. Perhaps you should rethink the wheel and get something easier to grab. Like a Cushion Grip GM wheel perhaps?

I'm aware, but we had a '63 Fairlane with a very similar wheel, and manual steering, and it was fine.

Okay, it's harder to steer, but I can live with it. It looks great. Once the car gets rolling it'll be fine.
