Also - the fender guy doesn't really need to know the transmission type, since there was not an emblem installed on the fender to denote such or any kind of packaging to accommodate. So no "heads up" markings would be required. K

From what I understand these are instructions for piercing fenders for trim and emblems...
These are the codes I have seen personally... 427 M is COPO Style Trim G R is Z28 Rally Sport G M Z28 Style trim 427 R is COPO Rallysport FWIW the engine RPO code on the body broadcast for the Z28 is G.
