Wanted 71 pontiac v8 choke thermostat with cover and rod

Looking for a functional pontiac V8 4bl carb used oem choke thermostat with the cover and rod. 1970 and earlier are avaliable reproduction but are different. They will not fit. It's a 71 72 only part and not reproduced as a complete set up.

i have one....45 shipped..its still on a 71 455 in a car ..i can get some pics tomorrow

No H/O 71 455 motor. I will check my intake part# to confirm. Thanks for the help.

if its alum its HO..if iron standard..and thats what i have one off an iron intake

It's a iron manifold.

you can see it closed the choke when i opened the throttle..the paint flakes off..a little thinner would clean it up..you can see thru the paint...its just a piss coat..and who knows why they did it..i cant start the engine..its got a jumped t-chain..but i cant see why it wouldnt work....but it closed...it was running and driving til it jumped time..

its the right one for your application...pretty unique...impossible to get...i will PM you my info...i will get it off later, and get it out asap
