Private messages

Years ago before I owned this site and was just a moderator I was asked by a member if it was possible that I could be reading their private messages. I assured them I could not. As the site owner I now in fact do have the ability to read anyone's privates messages. I don't read anyone's messages but I think it is important to know that there is a way for me to do it. You should also assume it can be done on any other sites as well. I don't like it but that is how the software is.
