			Hi All,

@ MCACN I saw a beautifully restored cortez/black '69 L78 Camaro that had the driver side tires off for display. On the driver's side frame rail adjacent to the orange paint assembly line mark, there was a date stamp in white paint. I have a picture saved on my other computer I can post tonight. Is there a vendor that reproduces that stamp? Thanks for the help. Dan

That was Carl Seiore's car. Can't see the stamp in this pic. But, yeah. That was a nice car.

Dan, I believe you're referring to the stencil on the front drivers side subframe...

Hi John, yes it was a stunning L78. Thanks for the pic...

Steve - do you know a vendor who reproduces the stencil?

Like this ? I have seen more yellow, front frame only, and sometimes partially under the bumper bracket. You may have to have one made ? Mike ![]()

Yes... thanks so much guys. That is precisely what I'm curious about.

Photobucket is killing me lately and the pic is too large to upload here. I'll post it when I have a moment to figure out PB. Dan

Here is my 69 SS amazing survivor, now Scott S car, Built in Van Nuys. You can see the stamp actually indented into the asphalt frame paint. The drips from dipping the frame are also visible.
